Foster carers provide a safe, nurturing, and stable home to children and young people aged 0β17 years who canβt live at home or with other family members.Β
The NSW Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) is recruiting all types of foster carers. Every child has their own unique life story and individual care needs. To ensure the needs of all children are met, we need carers from diverse cultures, backgrounds, life experiences, and with varied interests, from right across NSW. To support foster carers with challenges that may arise, DCJ offers foster carers resources, training, guidance, and financial support to meet your needs.
The Fostering with DCJ Team is ready to answer any of your questions on 1300 770 240 or email FosteringWithDCJ@dcj.nsw.gov.au or go to nsw.gov.au/fostercare for more information.
