Right now 350 homes are needed for children and young people in out-of-home care. If you’ve ever thought about opening up your home and your heart to a child in need, join us at an information session and make a difference in a child’s life.
This event is hosted by Carers for Kids NSW and features a representative from the Department of Communities and Justice NSW, plus a carer sharing their real-life experience.
Note: These sessions are tailored to Potential Carers however Authorised Carers may attend if they are accompanying a Potential Carer.
The online event will start at 7:00 pm and will be as follows:
- Acknowledgement of Country
- Introduction to Carers for Kids NSW
- Hear from a Local Carer about their experience
- Q&A between Potential Carers and Local Carer
- Introduction to Department of Communities and Justice and Non-Government
- Agencies Q&A with Potential Carers, Department of Communities and Justice and Non-Government Agencies
The event will conclude at approximately 8:00 pm.
